GREEN MEDIA TOOL SHED TRAINING: - for effective media outreach for St.Louis
Introduction to GMT sessions are approximately an hour in length and can
be taken directly at your desk by using the Internet and dialing into a
conference call. The course will focus on all of the basics of using the
media database including searching for contacts, building lists,
submitting edits, sending faxes and emails, and tracking outreach.
Participation in this introductory training is required in order to gain

CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTOR TRAINING: starting a file for your children
Chuc Smith president of St.Louis Veterans For Peace and member
Alternatives to Military Service. He will give a training on how to
establish a file that supports your child's claim of conscientious
objection to war. The file you will be beginning in this workshop could
be used during a possible war-time draft. Also Chuc will discuss
choices related to Selective Service registering for your 18 year-old
males and learn about possible future drafts utilizing females.

CODEPINK St.Louis-Women for Peace Coordinator and teacher, Laurie Meier
will be giving a Peace Art Training. The Peace Art Training's purpose
is to activate, amplify, and inspire a community of peacemakers. This
one hour training has a conversational structure with loads of
accompanying visuals, which break down into a wide variety of 2-D, 3-D,
and performance art possibilities (which can be adapted to fit any
