Howdy Friends,
Drea Stein, local DJ and community activist extraordinare, called me
yesterday and told me about a campaign that Pantene is running to help make
wigs for women with cancer. If you have at least 8" of hair, and you've
been considering a short sexy doo, then please consider cutting that hair
with Drea at Herstory Weekend on March 7 & 8 in Belleville. A qualified
hair designer will be on site to give you a new look and style too! Here
are the links to the Pantene
Campaign<http://www.beautifullengths.com/en_US/makethecut.jsp>and
Drea's
Show, The Other One, on KDHX Community Radio: FM
88.1<http://www.kdhx.org/index.php?option=com_kdhxradio&task=playlist&dothis=latest&show=The+Other+One&Itemid=268>.
Please share this email with folks you know that might want a free haircut
while helping out a great cause for women. Simply ask them to email me to
sign up!

One organizer comments, "One of the most rewarding aspects for me occurred
when we began donating all proceeds to a scholarship for single parents. A
bunch of people got together to enjoy art and the art of exchange and there
was money left over, so…We aren't just people hanging out enjoying art
anymore: *we are artists reaching out to our community*, and more
specifically to individual people in need. We help people follow their
dreams through education: this reality really sets this event apart for me."
There are additional acts to be announced and patrons may visit:
