Last summer, eleven St. Louis children from different backgrounds and neighborhoods went to Israel where they worked together with a group of thirteen Israeli Jewish and Arab children. The young people were from two different youth circus troupes: the Americans were from the St. Louis Arches and the Israelis were from the Galilee Circus. Together they formed the Galilee Arches.
The St. Louis Arches are the students from Circus Day Foundation--- the circus school based inside of City Museum. The Galilee Circus youth come from Arab and Jewish villages in Northern Israel brought together by the Galilee Foundation for Value Education.
This summer, the Galilee Arches are reuniting IN ST. LOUIS! From July 30 to August 13th, these fine, flying young people will show everyone in St. Louis what they showed the people of Israel. In the words of Rabbi Marc Rosenstein, ' I think many who saw the shows felt the same tears in their eyes, maybe out of the feeling one is seeing a vision of something that we all long for... the total obliteration of barriers, whether social, economic or gravitational.'
The Galilee Arches showed the true meaning of trust, courage and teamwork. When you see them together, you are struck by their abilities--- their abilities to juggle, balance and fly through the air: but more importantly, you are struck by their abilities to trust, to work together and to give to others. They are only children--- but they have a lot to teach the rest of the world. We have raised enough money to bring them to St. Louis, this summer. We are working on donations of food, entertainment and transportation while they are here. WILL YOU HELP?

You can also book one of our combined shows of amazing feats of skill and daring. The troupe can perform inside or outside. This is a wonderful production to attach one's name to. It has a lot of potential for fabulous and positive media coverage--- promoting world peace through youth circus. The shows are entertaining and inspiring. Cost for one show is a minimum of $1,500.

Can you book a show? Can you donate goods or services? Circus Day Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization and your donation will be tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Any support you can provide would be fantastic. We will also acknowledge, at every show, in every press release and on our website, everyone who will help us promote Peace through Pyramids and Harmony through Handsprings. We hope you will be on of those people.
Thank you.
For Harmony,
