the "Surviving Climate Change" roundtable at Webster University, June
27-29.

Contemplate: The best green production is LESS production.

*Surviving Climate Change: Producing Less and Enjoying it More*

WHEN: Friday evening -- Sunday afternoon June 27-29, 2008

WHERE: Webster University, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., St. Louis, MO

The effects of climate change, peak oil and toxic production are here.
We know it every time we see news of weather disasters and disappearing
species. We feel it every time we buy gas. We hear it every time a
child uses an asthma inhaler.

But how do we create a society without individual cars and the
expanding mountains of garbage that are the real causes of environmental
catastrophe? How do we reduce production without worsening the lives of
low income Americans and the poor throughout the world?

The roundtable will be an open discussion of remaking American
society. It will focus on developing solutions, rather than repeating
problems.
