What will the results of the 2008 election mean for the US, the state of
Missouri and the City of St. Louis? The day after the November
elections, we will gather for a discussion of what the results mean and
what we might anticipate from new national and state administrations.

Will the US economy crash? How will economic chaos affect low income
people? How can new administrations protect jobs without poisoning the
environment for future generations?

Should we expect more wars or less? How should we respond if the new
administration provokes war with Iran? Or if it intervenes in Venezuela?

Closer to home, will the new Missouri legislature continue the attack on
public schools? Will it support St. Louis having its own police oversight?

Especially important is what the November elections indicate for the
2009 elections in the City of St. Louis. What needs to change in the
City and how can we make it happen?
