To all those concerned with Lead Poisoning and corruption in the City of
St. Louis:
I received word a few minutes ago that the State Auditor has completed
the first four audit reports of the City of St. Louis. They cover the
Department of Personnel and Civil Service, Supply Division, Board of
Public Service, and the Board of Aldermen. The State Auditor will
release them at a press conference which will be…
DATE: September 30, 2008
TIME: 11:00 a.m.
SITE: Wainwright State Office Building
Gallery Room
111 North Seventh Street St. Louis, Missouri
Please let me know if you can attend this press conference. Given the
massive corruption that has recently been exposed in the City of St.
Louis, as many people as possible should attend, ask questions, and show
outrage at what this administration is doing. It goes beyond efforts to
destroy the public school system, the racist firing of an outstanding
Fire Chief, and driving people out of their homes via eminent domain.
Scandals with the Police Department show that this administration is
thoroughly incompetent to handle public funds. Please watch Channel 5
news for its ongoing report on the massive squandering of public money
by the Slay administration.
Again, come to the press conference, bring people, and let me know if
you can be there.
Solidarity,
