Hopefully that got you to open the email... and it is a possibility
that MSD is currently contemplating. Due to new federal environmental
standards, MSD will be starting a major capital improvement
initiative, and it will have a direct effect on the rates we all pay
for our sewer service.

MSD held a number of poorly attended meetings around the metro, and in
general people were not satisfied with the format and lack of
question/answer periods. So, that's where ACORN comes in. We asked
MSD's board of directors to hold a final presentation, with a modified
format, to meet the needs of the community, and they agreed to this.

This is your last chance to give public comment, which will help shape
the upcoming MSD changes, and will effect future rate increases
associated with these changes.

What: MSD/ACORN community meeting
When: Wed. May 13th, from 6pm-8pm
Where: Tegeler Hall at SLU(south side of Lindell, east of Grand)
Why: This is your last chance to impact the decisions of MSD and the
EPA, and these decisions will affect our bills and environment.

Event is totally free, with refreshments provided. Please bring
friends/family/neighbors.
