[Imc-strategies] huge problem with strategies subscriptions

hi everyone,

three people who had pending subscriptions to this list were just now subscribed but i'm not the one who did it.  i had emailed everyone who had pending subscriptions saying please send your introduction to the list and was waiting to hear from folks.  i'm wondering if anyone on this list has any idea about this.  

the only way people can be subscribed to this list without the list admin doing it are people who have higher level access to the mail server.  there are people who have global passwords and i know that people have done it in the past. 

so i'm just checking cause i'm pretty concerned that i am not even in the list admin interface and i didn't subscribe three people and now they are subscribed as if by magic.  here we are restarting a list about indymedia strategic conversations (a pretty critical topic if you ask me) and we've got these kinds of things happening.

i'm cc'ing listwork because they handle these kinds of list issues.
