I have sent this mail allready but it seems to be lost 

hi:
I'm working with the indymedia collective in Portugal, I'm more in the print 
project. We release every month a printed page of the most important news, 
we publish the PDF on-line and the distribution is made by anyone, now we 
are wrinting in the site the places where we put it so we can imagine better 
its outreach. 

I'm not really sure why I subscrive this list but I do want to discuss 
strategies, or to know strategies from other indymedia across the world. 

I will try to resume a litlle of our colective, as I said I'm not very much 
involved in all the work of the collective, so it's more a personnal view.
Some colectives do a lot of self reporting news (looking for the subjects 
and making reports/news). We make more a selction of the news from various 
medias, we select some and cross with others, and we point and follow some 
issues. I have few "self made" news... 

We make the print to open the project to the people without computers or 
internet, and also to make some "publicity" of indymedia.
Now we are triyng to get some funds, selling t-shirts (some elements print 
them).
We translated a book about the argentina 2001 rebelion, and we publish it 
last month. 

We have a software developed by elements of our group, wich is fantastic and 
give us much control of the site and its easier to find solutions to the 
problems we find.
