| ok - so just sent this to listwork (again):
|
right, so i followed-up with a little discussion in irc, and have to say that i
totally agree...
the suggestion was to use the imc-strategies list for discussion about research
- - they are, after all, interconnected:
Imc-strategies mailing list
Imc-strategies at lists.indymedia.org
http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/listinfo/imc-strategies
<quote>
Working group to discuss local to network-wide strategies, in theory and
practice, for critical issues facing indymedia and the larger movement,
including visioning, collectively.
</quote>
compare that to:
description:
| The IMC movement is at a critical crossroads. We need to develop the
| research tools and methodologies necessary to understand the ways in which
| the movement is growing, how the application of radical democratic
| principles are impacting our work, how people are using the network, the
| effectiveness of our outreach etc. This list is about how we can work
| together to create a more coherent, comprehensive research program.
which was what was submitted to listwork.
there's also been some discussion on imc-communication:

and, finally, i've created a page about all this:
