hey.
the colo situation in seattle is changing, and the current version of
sarai (v2), an HP netserver (room heater on wheels), won't fit. to
alleviate this, some allies in seattle have built a 4U box, and it is up
and running, online, and fits in the colo rack.

it is installed with debian sarge.
i have been copying over the mailman data using a bandwidth shaper.

when the data are copied over, i'll set up daily rsyncs to keep it up to
date.
with sarge, there should be a smaller number of backports/patches needed
(i really hope that is the case).

its name (for lack of imagination) is sarai3.aindymedia.org
people with accounts on sarai have accounts on this box (which is the
case of stallman, the motherboard of inglis).

i'm sorry about the late notice.
i am hoping we can keep this all relatively painless.

stefani.
