[IMC-Sysadmin] atotarho.nysindy.org will soon die

Greetings all.

In the wake of what's happened with ahimsa's confiscation and the Secret
Service probe last month, the folks that graciously let us have a box and
bandwidth at atot.nysindy.org have decided that they cannot afford any
possible legal ramifications of continuing this relationship. This is the
machine which publish.nyc.indymedia.org, boston.indymedia.org, and
cyprus.indymedia.org are hosted on. I am very sorry about this, and I take
full responsibility for this sudden discontinuation of service.

There is no clear timeline just yet for when things need to move, but they
need to move. We're only doing 35kB/s (which is about 3G/mo) since the RNC
stopped, so traffic shouldn't be a big problem. I'm trying to contact
Nick at Calyx, who went to bat for us during the USSS/RNC delegate legal
brouhaha about hosting there, but it's not clear that that will work out.

Hardware may also have to change - right now atot is a 1UP P4/3.06GHz. I
have an AthlonXP 2500+ (1.833GHz) box which I can donate out of my pocket
if someone can cover shipping, but it has only 256M of ram, and is not
rackmountable - which means commercial colo costs would be greater.

I will make sure that, one way or another, these sites stay up for the
next few months, but unless we can find another colo and possibly
hardware, I cannot make any guarantees beyond that, and I need your help
finding these things.

To reiterate, I'm begging: any hardware or colo donations would be greatly
appreciated.
