hi,

today i tried to subscribe to docs.indymedia.org, and first 3 or 4 times
gave an invalid WikiName. After I got the picture, I tried AnsTi with
"ans ti" as realname. This time i got a internal server error, same at a
second retry.

after that i wasn't able to connect and docs.indy page any longer, but
got an information that my ip has been blacklisted and will be delivered
to public dns blacklists.

first, my ip is dynamical because i'm operating from a dial-up account,
so i should be able to circumvent the block by re-dialing.
but what happens if someone else from the same isp gets the ip next time
he loggs in (maybe in 2 or 3 days), and tries to connect docs.indy?

will he be blocked? for what reason?

last but not least, i'dd like to ask _why_ i finally got blocked, and
what i did wrong ...
pabs at #tech on irc.indymedia.org told me that i'm not the first person
having such problems, so could you please explain on imc-tech at l.i.o your
decision to use buggy blacklisting software that makes more troubles
than it helps?
has docs.indy been annoyed by DoS attacs or why did you install these
procections?

bye
 ansti
