[IMC-Tech] PROPOSAL: contribute $150 to seattle community colo

The IMC mailserver, sarai, is currently be co-located at the seattle
community colocation project, essentially for free. This colocation
facility is actually the company galaxy-7.net who is in financial
trouble and needs money to cover its costs. They are doing a great
thing by providing us with the space (and believe me, sarai is a big
machine and takes a lot of space), and the bandwidth for our
communications. If we cannot be at galaxy-7 anymore, then I am not
sure where we can put this machine.

So, I propose that we contribute $150 to them and keep an open mind to
contributing more in the future. Normally community colocation prices
are $50/month, but nobody turned away for lack of funds. We haven't
paid anything yet for the time that we've been there, so I believe
that $150 is a modest and fair amount.

In addition, if people are interested in switching their local dialup
or DSL, galaxy-7 can offset some of our costs through us referring
people. Its not much, but it is something for every person who does
switch! They provide local dialup access nationwide, and can do DSL
also (they can do the qualifying checks if needed). So if you are
interested in trying to support them in supporting us, I can be sure
to forward you on to them for referral credit so we can keep things
online for longer.

Micah
