It hosts radio.indymedia.org . radio.indymedia.org hosts a number of
podcasts. It might also be serving live radio streams. I'm not sure what
else it does.

Lots of radio collectives around the world use it for archiving and
podcasting.

Mark in SF works on it periodically, i believe. Not sure why he's not
responding.

radio.indymedia.org uses sf-active. i'm not sure what the os is.
somebody should at first see why its not responding. Its been up for a
long time. It was a few months ago that we had problems with it needing
to be rebooted, i believe.
