I filled out the new list form, soon we will have a berkman-tech list.

I'm afraid we already have a task to start with: berkman seems to be down
again.  I do not know why it came back up last time - last week I got
sick and missed many of the emails on the subject, and when I caught
up the system was back up.

Either way we have some investigation to do to figure out why we
suddenly have stability problems.  I think we can try to coordinate
this between people in Amsterdam who can visit the server, and
tech folks elsewhere who can provide support.

If our volunteers local to Berkman can let us know when they will be
able to get to the system (clara if you can help), I will try to contact
the remote tech support so that we have a team in place.  If the rest of
you have ideas, of course, speak up!  (Also, Mark B, if you can
provide BSD support that would be appreciated)

Sorry this is happening during a holiday.
