Completely agree, though that isn't what is being asked for, ie the request is for a *.indymedia.org not *.city.indymedia.org

In the past *.city.indymedia.org subdomains or wildcards
have been set up as IMC's wish, I see no reason to change
this or for it to go to imc-communication, you should just
send your request to the DNS queue:

  dns at sos.indymedia.org
