After already a bit more than a year i'm now resigning from tech work.
Some days ago i had a discussion with a member of an IMC about the
tech working groups being over-worked, which ended with him telling me
that some of the 'whiny' tech workers should get a punch in the face.
I don't want to have to cope with such statements. I don't want to
fear for my safety, doing tech work. I think that the choice of words
in that statement demonstrates a machismo that i don't want in a
network i'm part of and i think this conflicts with the emancipatory
idea of ((i)). I hope for the network that there will be someone doing
techwork who is strong enough not to be disturbed or frightened by
such comments, because some parts of the main infrastructure of ((i))
desperatly need maintainance.
I will delete my accounts and my public keys myself.
