I don't think we can justify editing other people's posts, apart maybe 
from correcting spelling in article headlines or formatting articles a 
bit.  Also deletion means that another IMC volunteer can't undo the 
change you've made if there's disagreement. So it's really a choice of 
either hiding a comment, or leaving it alone.

euan2000, did you save a copy of the deleted paragraph anywhere?  or can 
you remember what it said?
