I am writing to ask you for your assistance in promoting the newly updated Oxford Research Group website. As you may already know, Oxford Research Group (ORG) is a small  independent NGO established in 1982 which seeks to develop effective methods whereby people can bring about positive change on issues of national and international security by non-violent means. 

We need assistance to promote an important area of our work:

Professor Paul Rogers' monthly international security briefings
Our Global Security Consultant, Paul Rogers, writes a monthly international security briefing for the ORG website. In these he  takes a step back from the heat of the moment to provide a concise monthly overview of the international security situation of the world we're in, focussing on the conflict in Iraq, the US-led 'war on terror' and the implications of US foreign policy. Clare Short MP said these monthly columns are "...a must read for those who want to know the truth about the military situation in Iraq." He has recently expanded both the length and scope of these briefings and we would like to circulate these to as wide an audience as possible. You could greatly help us to do this by either:
1. Displaying a link to the security briefings page on our website or newsletter:

2. Advertising the briefings each month as they are published online (I would email you to let you know each month).
3. Including each monthly briefing in-full in your website or newsletter each month. The briefings are copyright free - we just want to get them to as many people as possible!

In addition to the monthly briefings, ORG has recently published a new book by Paul Rogers:

'Iraq and the War on Terror' Paul Rogers, June 2004
Oxford Research Group's new book, 'Iraq and the War on Terror', provides a contemporary month-by-month analysis of events as they were happening in Iraq, Afghanistan and the wider 'war on terror' over the 12 months since President Bush declared the end of major military operations in Iraq last May. It brings together Paul Rogers' monthly international security briefings between May 2003 - April 2004, and concludes with a commentary on the significance of the year's events, and an analysis of the current situation, including strategy options for the future. We need help to publicise this important book and it would be useful if you could advertise the book and provide a link to http://www.oxfordresearchgroup.org.uk/publications/books/iraqandwaronterror.htm.

We also need help to promote our newly updated website:

ORG's newly updated website
Our website has recently been fully updated but we still need help in increasing the number of people who visit it for information about ORG and our work. A link to www.oxfordresearchgroup.org.uk would be a big help. We also now have a fully updated online shop at www.orgshop.org.uk where people can purchase our various publications.
