Hello
Well, I think it looks very good, so after turning up on irc this
evening, and talking to peeps there, we decided to publish it.
So just gone to admin and clicked publish :-)
I think i is good this feature goes to a starpage special for a while
first. It gives a lot of prominence to the appeal, and this is good imho.
But then we should probably move it into some static page, and link it
prominently from a banner (or something similar) from the frontpage. An
then it could remain linked for a looooong time ... or short a one
depending how quickly and generously people react to the appeal.
Anyone out there with good banner making skills fancy doing an appeal one?
We could go for a flash one, I mean, an animated one done with flash :)
Or maybe something like they have on top of the middle column in in
http://www.indybay.org/
I think this also works, although i porsonally prefer a banner and leave
the middle columns for features.
anyway, cheers

(the say the empire re-afirms itself big time :(
