Couldn't agree more. The Hierarchy guideline was added many years ago 
to counteract some attempts by some left parties and organisations to 
abuse imc as their notice boards. This is what it is here for. To stop 
hierarchical organisations from advertising themselves in the wires, 
specially during election campaigns and the like. Not to stop people 
that don't relate strictly to anarchism fom using imc.

Besides, there's this general idea that indymedia is a kind of 
'anarchist organistation' or network. Well, there may be many 
'anarchists' and 'libertarians' involved in the project, but I would 
hate to see it reduced to just 'anarchism'. Surely there must be many 
volunteers and even imcs that would refute these labels,, musn't it?
