Hello

I'm thinking about doing a feature about the planned "Reclaim the Night"
march in Ipswich - planned as a response to the murders there. I
definitely want to do it for the cambridge page, but think it would be
good if it went on the UK page aswell. I know it is about an upcoming
event, but given the present coverage I think it could be worth it.

I might see if I can chat to some activist friends I know in Ipswich
about this for more quotes and background, but any ideas for content are
gratefully accepted.

In the meantime here are some links to be part of it.

"marches were held ... in 11 towns in England later in 1977 in response
to the "Ripper Murders" in Leeds."

Quote about women being advised not to go out alone

'Jeremy Penbrook, the leader of Suffolk County Council, last night
appealed to all women in the town not to venture out alone.

'"Go out in groups, stay in groups and make sure you all get home
safely," he urged.'
