Hi,

I've been working on a timeline of SOCPA, tying in as much as 
possible that's happened since August 2005 when it came in to force. 
I've put this up at

as an unpublished startpage special under 'repression' pending the 
creation of the SOCPA topic agreed earlier this month. I'd do this if 
I knew how, since I don't I'd be grateful if someone cleverer than me 
could do it please.

The article isn't complete. There are some links to the Indy and to 
the New Statesman that Doug sent me that I haven't added yet, some 
clarification over Chris Coverdale and there's three weeks of stuff 
to be added - not to mention I've not uploaded a picture - but I'd be 
grateful for any feedback. I hope to finish the thing off over Xmas 
and publish it next week.

It's an important time to be concentrating on this - for what it's 
worth there's a bill in the Lords to repeal this shitty clause 132 
which gets its second reading in January. Without a simplification 
such as this timeline it's hard for your average lazy MP to get to 
grips with what's going on, and any takeup from them helps with 
campaigning against it.
