I don't think disk space is a big problem.

This is what we currently have for images:

 17M     ./2000
 105M    ./2001
 286M    ./2002
 778M    ./2003
 788M    ./2004
 1.6G    ./2005
 889M    ./2006
 4.4G    .

And it's significantly less that the space needed for video and audio:

 24M     ./2000
 94M     ./2001
 662M    ./2002
 1.8G    ./2003
 1.6G    ./2004
 3.2G    ./2005
 3.5G    ./2006
 11G     .
