[Imc-uk-features] feature for indymedia topic

Hi,
I propose to make this article into a feature for the indymedia topic 
(cut and paste it into a new article so that it also stays on the newswire).

Has anyone got time to do it? and are there suggestions for an image?

btw, I would like to keep the "indymedia" topic. When it was set up, we 
saw it as one way to communicate with people who are not up the ears in 
the "indymedia backoffice" (the lists, irc, wiki etc). In a traditional 
publication, the "editorial" would probably come most closely to the 
same function. On the imc uk website, we don't have many places to 
communicate about "ourselves". We have been very shy in using the mid 
column features for our own purposes. I think announcing the promoted 
newswire and collapsed comments in startpage features was a good move.
But like with any topic, I think the indymedia topic only works if it is 
"looked after". I've cleaned the newswire for a while, but haven't done 
it now for ages, so it's not very focussed.
