Technical fix or checkboxes it doesn't matter - except the technical fix
is possible to implement and won't be for ages. We agree in principle to
having somewhere seperate for blogs, and we could have them on the front
page newswire too - but not always.

There is no point in waiting for the technical fix, when we can implent
it now. The technical fix can then come along and will slot in just fine
when someone actually has the time to implent it.
