It's fine by me, but for 'educational purposes' ;) here's bits of what i
said on irc:

"illegal"] it's a term we've been trying to make ppl use instead of
detention centre or irc [immigration removal centre]
<shiar> changing the name to irc was a big thing/debate (think it was 2001
or 2)
<shiar> on a european level

[to use some jargon, it's basically one of those inoffensive euphemisms
invented by the authorities to legitimise or conceal their crimes and
racist agengas]


<shiar> the standard neutral headline (who-what-where or name-present
tense verb-object) is good for news reports not features
<shiar> that's what i think anyway
