During large actions, the 24-hour rule does not apply.  This has been
the case for the last seven years, it's not a question of "certain
people", just how things are done.  If you check the features list for
past actions, you'll see that this has always been the case.

I don't know, but if you collect the URLs of the videos and post them to
the list they'll probably be linked.  It is possible that the people
doing the features were hit with information overload and missed linking
them.  If the info gets fed to the feature writers in a nice format then
anything that was missed will get added.

I asked about the ticker page in IRC at some point, if I remember
correctly I think Ben said that the ticker showed up fine in iMobile.

We have a shortage of developers doing coding work at the moment,
personally I'd like to improve our video capabilities because I think
the site is a disaster from the video standpoint.  The work that Ben has
done on mobile stuff has been pretty good though, I think, and youv'e
been doing some stuff too, no?
