Thanks. I wasn't aware of this. How is it decided that an action is large
enough not to involve the 24 hour rule?

Assuming the feature writers are known when there is no 24 hour rule. I
haven't a clue who did the features.
At the beginning, when the Camp was first occupied, two video links
appeared and then disappeared. Following that there were no video links
for a while and then brand new ones started to appear towards the end of
the event. In between several videos were missed but were picked up by
someone and sent to YouTube. Surely the people doing the features must
have seen them promoted on the newswire?
Talking of the YouTube presentation this would seem to be a good model to
follow, with videos gathered together in one place instead of being
scattered around.

Indeed it did but in the features there is the non mobile version, still
with its left hand column, which is not via iMobile.

We seem to agree on that but isn't this really due to a general lack of
interest in video among the collective?

The work that Ben has done is excellent but what happened to the MMS link
to the Newswire? Things we moving forward nicely and then suddenly stopped
without any explanation.
Yes I have been interested in mobile access and have used it to and from
the newswire but most people still seem to prefer voice, which is fine
when there is someone actually on the other end ready and willing to relay
the information. Though a voice call I made from the Climate Camp cost me
an astonishing £2, while 3g access to the imobile ticker came out at less
than 15p. If I send text to a newswire publish form it seldom costs more
than 50p.
What is happening with your calender? I am not sure how much longer I will
be around to moderate the existing one.
