During the climate camp, things were a little hectic and not everything
got reported to list properly. I appologise for anything I may have
failed to report, although I think I did eventually manage to report all
my hiddens. Moderation was discussed in IRC, albeit in a private
channel sometimes. I'm aware that this means we aren't operating as
transparently as we should be and it's no excuse for not later reporting
hiddens to the list, but it does mean actions are being peer-reviewed.
This particular post initially read like rumour, disinfo and
scare-mongering; I question how you can claim it was verified as coming
from fitwatch when nothing came through on any of the IRC chanels we
were working on to suggest this. I can only assume this got hidden
because we had no way of verifying if it was true or not, and given
there had been previous disinfo posted it seemed safer to hide it. I
can't remember the outcome of this particular post, but I think a later
newswire post was written explaining what was really happening in terms
of cops being on-site once we had the information - in which case, this
post was correctly left hidden. If we failed to do that then I can only
appologise for one mistake in the thick of the action.

Until we get Mir automatically reporting hiddens to the list, we have to
keep looking at what's being moderated in the admin interface anyway.
That isn't an excuse for Ben not reporting to the list, he clearly
should be, but people are always going to forget to report and/or decide
something isn't worth reporting.
