Dear Fellow Concerned Citizens

I will soon be sending the enclosed document with a similar message, as
per below, to a large number of media contacts (slight change to Ch 15),
anti-war politicians and anti-war associations in order to increase
knowledge of the facts behind the wars, 9/11 and the London bombings and
moreover to facilitate a move away from the current UK/US pro-war policy.

The enclosed document demonstrates the following:

· Analysis of the 36 lies that launched a war and 115 reasons to question

As with most Government secrets, the truth will come out eventually,
years from now. However, if the truth is to be of any use in preventing
further needless wars we need a catalyst to increase the dissemination of
information globally to effect any change.

There are a growing number of people coming to understand some of the
truths that lie behind the wars, however the media has been effective in
clouding many facts that would prompt people to question further. Many
people remain ignorant; some have no interest in knowing the truth; some
know, but are either not interested or too busy to care. One would like
to think that the truth would be a powerful weapon in the hands of the
majority of people with any ethical standards.

There are lots of alternative media websites dedicated to informing
people about the real truths. However, I fear this will not be enough to
reach the proportions of the population required to effect change.

The catalyst may be the use of “viral video”, a mass email
campaign and/or peer-to-peer networks:

  * “viral video” - a two-minute clip of a teenage boy
    pretending to wield a Star Wars light saber - the Star Wars Kid - has
    been viewed 900 million times

  * mass email campaign – companies are providing 900+ Million
    Email address for email campaigns


· peer-to-peer eg. Kazaa, Shareazaa – “at any given moment,
well over five million users are online offering well over 1 billion
files for copying through various peer- to-peer networks” -
Recording Industry Association of America.

What if we were to use the viral video or peer-to-peer technology in a
concentrated effort to disseminate the various anti-war and ‘911
facts’ video footage. In order to maximize the download and sharing
of such footage it would be worthwhile disguising some of it as the
latest blockbuster movie. This is somewhat unethical, I agree, but of no
comparison to the lies that got us in to war. If we have to be unethical
to get the message out, would that be so bad?

Of the millions of people receiving such footage or emails, a percentage
of those would read the unsolicited email / watch the
‘disguised’ video; a percentage of them would be interested
in what they viewed and some of these would disseminate the information
to their contacts and so on and so on.

The Legal Situation: the dissemination of non-copyright or copyright
(with owner’s permission) footage is not in itself illegal. In the
majority of countries there is no law against sending unsolicited email
(spam). Only Washington appears to have a law against it - it is now
illegal to send spam to residents of Washington state, but only when the
"from" address or other email headers are forged, if the spammer uses
3rd-party ISPs without their permission, or if the "subject" line is
misleading. Therefore, it seems that conducting a mass political email
campaign would be legal as long as the subject line was accurate.

I would be grateful for your suggestions and assistance in effecting one
of the ‘catalyst’ actions above or for any advice that you
may have in initiating an information campaign. Please note that
appropriate hyperlinks need to be implemented into the last 10 pages of
the document, which I expected to be completed within the next month. I
can then email the completed draft at that time.
