just a quick note on this ...

I think the key is not to address climate change as neither an 
enviromentalist issue only nor an activist issue.

I think it is a social issue that directly affects (or will 
increasingly directly affect) people, specially those with less 
resources (migration, precarity, access to water and energy in general, 
food production and accessibility, increased militarism and state 
protectionism, and on and on ..) Although it is true imo that, as 
startx points out, it will affect harder on most of the global south 
than in the 'developed' north.

Anyhow, this is a text that appeared in the first issue of Turbulence 
journal. I think it firmly puts climate change as a political and 
social issue, and I think it would be great to link it to the feature 
if it goes ahead.
