The GM piece has a very specific time scale, since it is
promoting what is likely to be the last GM action this year
taking place this weekend.
It went up less than 48 hours ago which is why I was arguing
that it would be good if it could be given a little more breathing
space before being pushed down by a feature bringing
together two things that apparently haven't yet
warranted features in their own regions, let alone the
UK front page.

Nice example of selective quoting. I don't give a shit
whether some STWC march of 2,000 people gets
significant coverage on the newswire or not. That wasn't
my point ... "I'm simply arguing that the coverage
of the march on the newswire does little to support the
proposal of a UK feature."

Ah yes, the discussion on IRC...
Which bit are we talking about.. the bit where you said you
were surprised that I wasn't asking for links to posts about how
great blair was and phunkee suggesting you email the list to
ask me to clarify my position before posting the feature -
or the bit where you go ahead and post the feature anyway
then say that you'd better go and respond to the bollocks from ben...
hmmm
Nice to inclusive indymedia process working in this case.
"If no one objects to the feature proposal within 24-hours, and if it
is completed, it will be uploaded to the middle column. The 24-hour
rule ensures that everybody can contribute to the middle column and
allows time for collaborative improvements and considerations."
