Are you are saying that moderators hiding a repeat should put a comment
on the hidden repeat saying so, and perhaps putting the URL to the
original, and not sending an email ?
That seems a good idea and might reduce the rate of burn out of good
moderators. It might even reduce the 'weed one sprout five' syndrome.
