There was an application sent in by email last March. No
acknowledgment. There was a form filled in perhaps last August that
did not want to get sent, was refilled and sent, but there was no
acknowledgment. It was then recreated as an email, and sent to the
email address.
The gist of what was sent is in the comment "Actually.." under
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2007/01/360746.html?c=on
It would be nice to know whether a site run on those lines would be
acceptable as IMC. It is different, but apart from requiring
registration so the need for moderators is much reduced, is on lines
that have previously been accepted as IMC.
There is a separate Wales imc list that is supposed to be part of
UKindymedia, I am surprised they do not have a place to tick for Wales
relevant articles organised yet.
There was a recent friday meeting called for Indycymru which some
working people could not get to, but four did. There are some who just
want to go ahead and have registered the name in USA, and there are some
who say lets get an answer from IMC first before putting in time and
effort.
I feel there should be a place for uncensored discussions, that do not
limit themselves to carrying news, within IMC.
