I'm really unclear about what you're getting at here. Is this reference to the
email, or the article. Can you suggest a term for discussing "Jewish political
identity" that would be acceptable to "the pro-israeli government lobby"
(surely there are people who are loyal to Israel, but not the Israeli
government eg Likudniks?), and not picked up on by anti-semites?

Well, it would be useful to see the form of CDM that IMC has consensed upon -
is
it documented anywhere?

I personally think it would be easier to start the process by email, and then
to
look at meeting to clarify any issues where we seem to be stuck - because the
whole issue is so sensitive, its useful to be able to use reference material,
and once we are clear on any sticking points, then a meet-up to discuss those
makes more sense to me.

I am struggling to see how this can be consensed upon without participants
having some knowledge of the issues that surround  the usage of the terms
"anti-semitism", and the "new anti-semitism".
