I ticked the "History" topic on this post (I think
sometime people forget that we now have a History
topic...).

Personally I wouldn't have hidden the original post, but I
agree it was really lacking in content, however this can
always be rectified by posting comments that flush out the
original item and these can then be promoted to additions
-- this a more positive approach than hiding items like
this... improve the post :-)
