Thanks, very interesting article, and amazing photos. In fact I've just
tried to publish the pics myself as comments to the article but it also
failed twice. I don't know why because this is the first time that
uploading media fails to me. Im not sure, but I guess it is probably
something to do with the fact that all these pics are copyrighted? Any
tech folk here know if this could be the case?

Ok, I also think this could make a very good middle column feature,
specially now that it seems that in the Hackney area of London people
are starting to organise themselves as a 'coalition against poverty'
mirrowed a bit with the experiences of such coalitions in Ontario,
Canada.

The think is that the article as you published it does not 'constitute'
a middle column feature as yet. To make it as such someone would have
to take the information in the article and turn it into the form of a
feature. This means, having an intro which introduces the issue, and
then having the rest of the information as the body of the feature in
the content space, which is, what you get when you click at the 'Full
article' link. This can be as long as one wants it to be. Then it would
also need some links to background info and so on.

The way it works in indymedia uk is that anyone can put together such a
feature, and then propose it to this list. Therefore, it would be
really good if you could put this article together as you seem to be
quite clued up about what is going on with all this. Otherwise someone
else will have to do it, and there's no guarantee that this will happen
as indy folk are already quite overworked as it is.

Thanks again
