Quoting your post to imc-london... " This situation is unlikely to
occur again as I intend in
future to place my videos beyond reach on other servers while continuing
to use the Newswire for text and links, which may or may not be 'hidden'
in the true sense of the word and not any other, hopefully."

So, yes, you don't specifically mention youtube but you are clearly
threatening to publish your videos elsewhere because you don't
respect the process that led to your video being hidden.

Let me remind you that first hand videos of actions are routinely
promoted
and that it's very likely that the person doing the promoting will
not even
watch the video before promoting it. In the case of the climate camp
this
is even more likely as much of the admin was done by people at the camp
IMC, with limited bandwidth and machines not best suited to watching
video.

The need for speed exists from the beginning but only becomes
apparent at the point that somebody notices an issue with the footage.

That's not relevant as you have no way of knowing exactly what they
managed to get on film. The only thing that maters is what you have
shot and what you (and indymedia) choose to publish.

I don't know (or care) what was on the video in question but I do
feel that it is the responsibility of videographers and of indymedia
admin to respect the concerns of those doing actions and being caught
on video.
