Although there has been a recent resurgence of zionist postings, my experience
as a mod is that there is a shedload more of pro-war and pro-imperialism stuff,
especially in comments.
The fact that there has been promotion and then several unhidings and rehidings
of 180335, suggest that some individuals within the kollektives have somehow
diluted the mission statement:
"The Indymedia UK website provides an interactive platform for reports from the
struggles for a world based on freedom, cooperation, justice and solidarity,
and against environmental degradation, neoliberal exploitation, racism and
patriarchy."
That doesn't sit comfortably with the suggestion that:
"(the US game plan was
most definitely not a good one, and quite possibly would have been a lot
better if the british had been in command)."
Nor does the parrotting of claims about how we taught Iraqis to police
themselves.
If it wasn't an issue on the site, we wouldn't be involved in this discussion.
