Even if, as seems to be being suggested, the mainstream media is cracking on to the, for us, deeply unsurprising notion that police officers are corrupt and have an unfortunate tendency to make their evidence fit their suppositions (which is being rather charitble) I do not think that this will neccessarily lead to a widespread awakening amongst the mainstream prress to the notion of this as a critique of all law enforcement bodies.  Sadly in this case I feel that it is much more likely to lead to a confirmation that all foregeigners are corrupt and "out to get us,"  in keeping with long held suspicions and prejudices held by, if my own fortunately cursory reading of such material, many of what refers to itself as the "popular" press. I agree with Bob too.

It doesn't appear to have been unhidden - so I've unhidden abnd rehidden it to
see if the grey background kicks in.
