I like it!. And I think it will make the ticker much more prominent 
when covering bigger  mobilisations. I always wonder if just having a 
link to it, as we have been having, is enough to make the ticker 
visible. I'm saying this because quite a lot focus and work is put into 
updating the ticker when doing dispatch.

Also, I don't like to replicate the ticker entries in the body of the 
feature as it was done during the Climate Camp and Dsei's reporting. It 
seems to me that it's just duplicating effort and, if anything, it 
makes the ticker almost meaningless. Why have it if the more important 
entries are in the feature anyway?.

So my thumbs up to Chris's proposal. It'd be better if it supported 
html but if it doesn't for now, well we will just have to link the 
reports to the feature.
