[IMC-UK-Features] on the Atzmon story

Just a quick note about your draft article on Atzmon, in which I
am mentioned in passing; there are a few things that should
be corrected.

The "deep conflict" between SF-IMC and Indybay had nothing to do with either me
or antisemitism. In fact, it was a split in the SF-IMC collective that led to
the founding of Indybay in the first place, and lots of bitter manifestos shot
back and forth on the mailing lists. If you read them, you'll see that they
don't mention antisemitism and they don't mention me.

Your story spins that I'm somehow the source of this conflict. That's simply not
true, and should be corrected. I did battle SF-IMC over their failure to
no-platform the antisemite Wendy Campbell, and they did ban her in the end for
her antisemitism. But the schism within the SF-IMC collective that led to the
bitter split was a purely internal matter. After the split, one side
flourished and
one side withered. That's how it goes sometimes.

Similarly, your story says that I participated in a "war" against Indymedia UK.
That completely misstates my position and I would appreciate a correction. If I
am at "war" with anything, its the refurbishment of right-wing antisemitic
rhetoric in left-wing garb, a process Atzmon facilitates. I am certainly not "at
war" with Indymedia UK. In fact, I think Indymedia UK came to the best decision
possible under the constraints.
