KerChing! Someone gets it! (this sarcasm, for anyone not following the
comments on the newswire, is because it's awash with this stuff and this
post isn't something independent of all of it)
Correct. There is no need to seek consensus for hiding posts complaining
about admin actions posted to the newswire, as there is already a strong
and clear consensus that they get hidden and the discussion about admin
happens here.
Correct. There are some posts that cause a great deal of controversy.
Some people might not see things in quite as black-and-white as you do -
yet others may see black where you see white. These posts require more
discussion, which erm is hard enough without you (a collective you)...
it went on for a month on this list, it continues on the wiki, and it is
scheduled for a face-to-face meeting (see posts passim).

PS And if you accuse me of defending a particular position because I
point out _only_ the way IMC UK is working and not my position I will
ignore you as one of those 'the world is only black-and-white' idiots.
