[IMC-UK-Features] indymedia climate camp

Hi there, 

One of the things that we all seemed to agree on in the last couple of gatherings for indymedia was the need for more partnership working with campaign groups, including things like syndication, aggregation.

The climate camp should give us a good opportunity to work out how this could work. Please do come along even if it is only for a day or so! Or see you in IRC if not hopefully. 

There have been some good things happening with the climate camp media stuff. There was a really good meeting on the Wales border with the Bristol posse called Hacktionlab. 

And from that came the idea of doing more workshops at the climate camp out of the alt.media space there.

 This year it's called 'be the media' and trying to work more within the process of the camp, to prevent the us and them feeling that was happening a bit last year.

One thing that is clear - the people that can't make it to the climate camp from indymedia are going to be very much missed. Hopefully we can still as an indymedia network help create kick ass coverage. 
There will be the infrastructure for doing good inymedia stuff, and also run by people with the indymedia ethos of open publishing and copyleft licencing. 

A couple of things...

Is there material that should be downloaded and printed off?
ben is going to do a print out - but maybe there are still leaflets in london that are around, or stickers, or particular print outs that we should do?

Also if video stuff is published on other servers so that it can be streamed [ie blip.tv],  would it be outrageous to embedding the video in the HTML page on Indymedia so we can point people to that page rather than the page on blip.tv or the climate camp website?
