Proposed for; Animal Liberation, Health, UK & World. ---Picture: http://www.indymedia.org.uk/images/2008/06/401608.jpg ABSTRACT: Eagle Asset has bought over 15 million dollars in vivisectors' Huntingdon Life Sciences, making them top shareholders of Europe's largest and most exposed animal testing laboratory known as Life Sciences Research, ticker symbol LSR. Activists are beginning to launch a full-scale protest campaign against Eagle Asset and their parent company Raymond James, which has offices all over the United States, as well as in London, Copenhagen and Munich.
Since December 2007 HLS has suffered from a serious lack of investment, with corporations last year selling all their shares including; TransAmerica Investment, Frontier Capital, SAC Capital, Axa, Wachovia, Alternative Investment Partners, Rathbone Brothers, Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bank, La Grange Capital, Robeco Investment Management, Fairfield Grenwich Associates & BNP Paribas. Throughout the campaign to close HLS activists have made financial history as one by one major corporations have yielded to protester power and severed their links with the failing company.
Newswire: Action Alert: Top HLS Investor - Part 3 | Action Altert: Contact Eagle Asset - HLS Investor | Action against HLS Investor | HLS Supplier DHL trashed for Active Slaughter | Novartis Global Week of Action Roundup | Staples lies and beagles die | ALF torch Staples trucks | PIA Stop Beagle Flights | New HLS supplier caught out: Staples | Antares Pharma Drops HLS | Singh Skips Terminates HLS Contract | Important Broker Breaks With NYSE Euronext | Quick message from SHAC: NO SHAREHOLDERS! | HLS's Top Shareholder - TransAmerica after SAC Sell! | HLS Shareholders Dropped! HLS workers have even been caught drunk at work and dealing drugs at the labs.
Huntingdon Life Sciences have a criminal record from a British court of law for breaking the Companies' Act. They are the only UK laboratory to ever have their licence revoked by the government.
Shareholders, stockbrokers, market makers, suppliers and clients have all dumped HLS, including the world's largest companies; all four main high street banks in the UK, the world's largest financial institution, the world's second largest bank and the world's largest insurance broker. Huntingdon are $89 million dollars in debt with NO commercial bank and insurance company anywhere in the world prepared to deal with them.
HLS's key weakness is their finances and by throwing the spotlight on those funding their abuse campaigners across the globe have managed to bring HLS to the brink of financial collapse.
