As you guessed; it's another McLibel case. I'm not that well educated on
the original case, so if anyone could help tidy this up at all if nobody
objects to it then it would probably help...

proposed for; Animal Liberation and Ecology.

p.s - the previous proposal about the HLS investor...... 'Eagle Assets'
is written in the first paragraph twice, it infact should be
just 'Asset'. also sorry to have posted a fair bit in recent days,
it won't be like usual, this kid is just a legend :)

....didn't find a mclibel related pic or anything.

As part of the anniversary of the now famous <a
href="http://www.mcspotlight.org/case/index.html">McLibel Case</a
<http://www.mcspotlight.org/case/index.html">McLibel Case</a>>, when in
1997 two campaigners were sued by the McDonalds Corporation for
distributing a leaflet critical of the company, campaigners on the 21st
June entered McDonalds in Rose Crescent, Cambridge, to continue to
highlight the devastating environmental impact the corporation is
causing to the planet.
<p>
After being removed from the restaurant by police, an officer then
questioned an individual for his details. He was told if he did not give
his date of birth he would be arrested under Section 5 of the Public
Order Act, despite giving his name and address; the only legal
requirement for the purpose of a summons. For refusing do to so the
activist was arrested, charged and <a href="<a

Cambridge Magistrates.
