For the anniversary of the now famous <a href="http://www.mcspotlight.org/case/index.html">McLibel Case</a>, when in 1997 two campaigners were sued by the McDonalds Corporation for distributing a leaflet critical of the company, campaigners on the 21st June entered McDonalds in Rose Crescent, Cambridge, to continue to highlight the devastating environmental impact the corporation is causing to the planet.<p>After being removed from the restaurant by police, an officer then questioned an individual for his details. He was told if he did not give his date of birth he would be arrested under Section 5 of the Public Order Act, despite giving his name and address; the only legal requirement for the purpose of a summons.<p>For refusing do to so the activist was arrested, charged and bailed for court on the 3rd July at Cambridge Magistrates.
