It would be pretty trivial now for York to suck an RSS feed (content,
enclosures the lot) from UK if there was a York tick box on the publish
form and a feed created. It believe it would actually be technically
feasible for Mir to do the same the other way, but I'm not sure who
would/could implement it.
The only important extension to this method would we need to add
something about if an article has been Hidden.
Obviously there are lots of other cool ways of sending content around -
but that's one method that's in place on most of the sites already.
